I am having a terrible experience with Airbnb platform. They have blocked my payment methods without any reason. I have tried several credit cards, debit card, PayPal. Nothing works. Contacted support twice, they promised to resolve the issue in couple hours but nothing has need done so far. Spent a lot of time finding a place I like to stay and now what?! The previous place I have booked without any problems just two days ago. Very frustrating experience!

The app could be improved by adding more search options. A really good one is how many of the sleeping spots have room to get out of bed on the side of the bed. I spend a lot of time filtering out places that have one side of a double or queen bed right up against a wall. To me that sleeps 1.5, not 2.0. Along the same line, it would help to filter on the primary bed being at least a queen, or at least a king. One last thought is to filter on the square footage of the primary table surface.

When I click on a link to share an airbnb location, and you click on that link, you can't swipe through the pictures or number of bedrooms. You have to go into the app and find that airbnb and then swipe through all the pictures. I feel like the shareable link should be out of convenience, but it's not very 100% convenient.

Amazing that an app as popular as this has no one testing it on Android. I'm using a $1000 Samsung S21 flagship and it has glaring usability issues. With the latest update, the control for selecting dates does not work. It just takes you back to the location selection screen "WANT TO STAY IN ITALY?" No, no I actually do not. As a workaround, you just have to keep selecting properties until you find one that's available for the range, and it will offer to set the date. This is unusable (AGAIN).

I love the feature of finding properties in the area spread out over the dates you're looking for automatically sorted for you. This app makes it entirely too easy to travel, especially if you're just interested more in where you sleep than where you stay being unique. Now, all the need is a reward program. (Maybe a way to search for private properties, excluding rental companies)

Generally works but also there are quite a few times where the app does not load well on Samsung S21 and I can not navigate it. It seems to be stuck on the "today" tab view only. While the tabs on the bottom that allows you to select inbox, calendar, insights and menu goes missing quite often. And does not appear back until the phone is restarted. This is so frustrating. Wish Airbnb would fix this issue asap so host can communicate better with there guests.

Easy to use booking for business or pleasure. Always gives a very descriptive explanation of house rules, amenities and accomodations. AirBnB has always been my first choice when traveling outside of my hometown area. Definitely check out the listings in your area of travel with AirBnB when traveling instead of booking a small one room hotel for your family. The app is super easy to use. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I tried to book but wants a copy of a picture, then a state ID then use a Webcam to take a Pic of me, I don't have one so tried to use the phone app. It sends a text msg to click on, opens the app but only a white screen appears. Tried 3 times, same thing, it crashes each time. Even rebooted my phone but same thing, white screen. I can't book anything because your app keeps crashing?

Android user: You're better off going to the website to do your business. If you don't use Airbnb often, it may seem perfect for a few days, 3-month out . But if you basically live on the road there are so many features that the app leaves out... can't leave a public reply to a host's review ...can't book long term past 3-4 months out...can't read the captions under the posted photos... can't enlarge the photos...etc. I love Airbnb but hate the app. Don't waste space on your phone downloading.

The app is okay, I prefer desktop, though, because the filters work better. As a service, I'm disappointed with what Airbnb has become. All of the fees really add up. By the time the costs are calculated, the total is double what the listing showed in the search. Consistently. The amount varies, depending on the listing, so I wish the search results would show the TRUE total, including taxes and fees, so I didn't waste so much time clicking through.
