I purchased this app a while back, and had not utilized much. Today tried to grab some Chinese characters from an article and this app couldn't recognize many characters. I used both Chinese character options in the setting. So is there an add on Chinese characters plugin for this app or something?
Its easy and good to use
ChatGPT said that ABBYY can read John Gregg shorthand, but it does not. I saw no option for it in the language recognition options. Disappointing. :-(
Have Premium version: The OCR is fair. It does have a hard time recognizing white text on a black background. I would like to suggest adding a Backup/Restore option. However, I feel it will be unlikely because it's been about 2 years since it was updated last. I wonder, is this app still being supported? It could use at least a maintenance update to target Android, 11, 12, and 13.
Wow. So poor. ABBYY has been doing OCR for decades so i was shocked to see this app bungle my test image that no-name apps ace. Avoid!
