I wish I could give this 20 stars!! For 2 months I've been dealing with pop up ads every time I unlocked my phone. This started after the latest Android update. I've tried all kinds of things to get rid of them. Finally heard about AppWatch and installed it. Followed the instructions and when the ad popped up I checked the app notification and it listed Photo Editor as the culprit. I uninstalled it and no more ads since! Thank you so much!!!

The app helped mento find the scam app popping ads in the phone. Here's my advice if you dont see the app. The ad popper can copy another apps name. In my problem, it copied my Drive into Google Drive. Thus, i solved the problem.

I have tried many apps that claim to block popup ads with no luck at stopping them. I found this app with hopes of finding what was causing it at least. within 2 minutes of downloading, I had 3 popups and the Appwatch told me what was causing it. The malicious app has been uninstalled. No more problems. Thank you Appwatch! You saved my sanity!!
Perfect for ads! I started getting annoying popup adds that filled my entire screen, so this app is perfect in finding that app if youre up for doing some investigating. It doesnt flat out tell you which app is the cause of the ads, so youll have to use your brain. As soon as an ad pops up, I open AppWatch (which is conviniently located in the notification bar) & usually the app causing the problem would be at the top of the list. Ever since, I've had no ads and my phone works like new. Ty guys!
Was considering buying a new phone because mine was so polluted with pop-up ads. I tried for weeks removing apps and adding apps to try to stop pop-ups. I have to leave my phone on overnight for business and the pop-ups were waking me up to three times through the night. Driving me crazy. And in less than 24 hours using your app to hunt down and remove the guilty apps. I have not seen one pop up yet. Where before I would have had 10 or 12. And seems battery is lasting longer.. Thanx
AWESOME! 12 hours with no pop-ups when I was getting one about every 30 minutes. This app does not block ads, it tracks app usage. When a pop-up appeared, I just check the Appwatch notification center and saw what apps were recently running. I easily found an app that I was not activily using at that exact time, it opened itself!! I then uninstalled that app and now have been pop-up free for 12 hours. Just awesome!!!
Out of nowhere I started having ads pop in in my text messaging. I removed all possible new apps that could have been causing it and still no luck. After downloading AppWatch, I was able to find the culprit within about 2 minutes. It ended up being some hidden app that wasn't even listed on my phone with any of the other apps. I could never have found it on my own. Thank you AppWatch for saving my sanity!!!
Perfect!!! I had annoying ads popping up at random times on my phone. I downloaded this app and was able to quickly solve the problem. Just install it, turn on the app monitoring feature, use your phone until the next time the popup happens, then go to AppWatch. You will see the trouble making app. Uninstall the bad app and your problem is solved. Note: Those who gave this app a "1 star" expected it to stop the ads. It does not stop them. It identifies the app that is causing them.
I only downloaded this about 6 hours ago. I've been having non-stop random popups on my phone. They've disrupted phone calls, video chats, watching videos, etc. I tried several apps that were suggested by blogs; none of them worked and were extremely confusing. Like I said, SIX hours. And it managed to help me find the app. I am so beyond grateful for this app! This is a brand new phone and it was so slow and laggy. Oh and it gives clear directions and was so simple, a caveman could do it. ;)
tryed 3 other programs to find out why my phone was freezing, and why I was getting so many pop-ups. I used appwatch and in one day , it told me what programs are running in the background, and what was not supposed to be running, and I was able to delete the programs that I thought was good, but turned out to be spying on me and causing all these ads to come in. thanks!
