Game is enjoyable enough. It was nice when ads were optional to earn rewards, but now you're forced to watch an ad before watching a story episode, or right after a level, or before you can collect a supposedly free prize from the wheel of fortune, or even when opening the map. And these ads are supposed to be short, but you have to click x several times before they'll go away. Oh, but if I pay money I can remove the ads. It's bs and I'm thinking of not playing anymore because of it.

I have noticed that after you watch multiple ads the game will freeze and not let you close the ad and then you have to close the game and it appears that you end up losing some of your progress. If this gets fixed soon I will be glad to add the last star. I do wish that you could have the option to skip literally all of the ads instead of just paying to stop the pop up ads though.

Ads, ads, ads, and more ads. This game is pretty cool for a couple of levels and then it's a constant barrage of "give us money give us money give us money". Once you get to the second restaurant, you can't beat levels without paying for gems and again, the barrage is non stop. You have to turn down purchases multiple times per level.

It's an addictive game entirely, but getting the red gems is nearly impossible after so far, without spending money. Not to mention the rediculous "challenges" that set you up for failure if you don't have boosts to get you through the level. I was enjoying the app till I got stuck on a level for two days now with no way in sight to pass it. Very disappointed.

This will be my fourth edit and the improvements the team has made are amazing! Still it's expensive gem wise to upgrade your restaurant which is a little frustrating when your stuck on a level but otherwise the game is really good. I so wish the Creighton challenge would last longer as I usually can't get through them in the short time it's available

I've been playing this game for literally over 3 years. It's my favorite game but now it's almost impossible to beat levels. Why am I struggling on level 20 of a new restaurant? I upgrade multiple items at once and still end up short on coins. Really is a bummer. I don't want to stop playing but I might if it stays like this. Others agree, too. Please change it back to not being so frustrating and impossible just for money.

Other restaurant games are inferior to this game! I want to clarify that "the ads" others have commented about are not ads but inside game offers that pop up that you can close immediately. The only ads it has are optional to watch for items but aren't necessary to beat levels. This game has a great back story, the design is great, there are extra things to help you move through the game. Yes, you might want to pay to get items and boards done quicker but not necessary to enjoy the game.

Great storyline & gameplay. Difficult to get rubies needed for upgrades, though -- would be nice if we could watch ads for rubies again (and more than just a few times a day). Ad crashing issue & event difficulty progression appear to have been fixed. Could use more balance in tasks vs. "completion" re: restaurant progression (which would help with the dearth of rubies situation). Overall, I really enjoy the game -- just wish I could play it more without getting stuck.

I love this game but don't play as much as I used to cause sometimes you can get stuck on a level&unless you have rubies to upgrade kitchen or put towards some kind of an upgrade,you can't progress.Used to have no problem waiting it out,collecting small #of free rubies could get in various ways throughout the game,but it was taking too long to get the game open& going,having to wait out all popup deals,offers,announcements,etc. Upgrading isn't helping either.Still like to play every so often.

Loved this game and played for a few years. I didn't mind spending money on food trucks and path to glory but now I can't beat levels without using rubies. I shouldn't have to pay to just play. The game was awesome in the beginning. Latest levels shouldn't be so hard just because they are new. Sad to uninstall the app and leave my guild but it is just too expensive.
