I'm so. embarrassed please forgive my horrible behavior, ifindmo faults in your efforts and will never lash out like that again!
The regular Facebook app wouldn't load past the splash screen. Just kept crashing. Even after I deleted it and reinstalled. So I'm glad this app still works for me. I think there's something wrong with the latest update of Facebook. Hopefully they fix it soon. However, so far I haven't found anything this lite version can't do over the full one.

Everything fine for a lite version. However, there are little details to correct. One of the biggest, is that when tapping on a photo to see it in full size, text is still appearing at the bottom and cannot be hidden by tapping the photo in fulk size. It would be very helpful to correct things like this.
I installed this app. It worked fine the first day. The second day, most images/photos weren't appearing. I just saw blank white spaces where they should be even after refreshing. I was able to see the images when I opened a browser app and used the Facebook mobile web page. So, I uninstalled FB lite. I will use the mobile website. That has worked well for me. There is no advantage to installing another app - especially when it fails.
Why every good thing has to be bad at some point. This app is very easy to use. I always prefer this app over the original one because of it’s in app message service. Also it doesn’t consume so much space. But recently I am having so many issues like I can't watch any story. Whenever I open any story it constantly start changing and I can't even stop it. Sometimes when I type long message it automatically refresh itself and I lost the written content which is very annoying.
Edited review: stop chucking ads in our faces, Meta. Go back to a better UI. I used to Love this lite version, has all I need from Facebook while saving on data by cutting all the bells and whistles. You won't be able to post or view gifs, load videos, or actively refresh in the lite version, but that's exact) what the lite version has, at around 20% of regular Facebook's size. And since I mostly use internet from my ]phone, this app also helps me cur down on data.
FB has sucked from the beginning. MySpace was always better written as a website. The built in browser is all but useless and crashes constantly while having no option to use a real browser by default. The Story function fast forwards through all pictures to the last one and cannot be turned completely off no matter what. The app has no access to my microphone, but keep showing me ads for things I have only ever mentioned verbally. Ehat do you expect when FB outsources server space overseas?
