The most accurate 'nowcasting' for where I live. (Forecasting is traditionally off but that's a problem all such apps have.) The UI is clear and sensible; it's possible to access your favorite locations without waiting for GPS to catch up. Overall, it's state of the art.
For some reasons the current temperature in the app is wildly different from your website for the same location (3C difference). Please fix. Also oftentimes the app decides it doesn't want to update the weather and I see in the app: "Last updated an hour ago". The only way to fix that is to kill the app and reopen it.
The app was perfect. Unfortunately it was not updated for 2 years. Something has happened after Android Pie update and the widget is not refreshed automatically anymore, and if I restart the phone the widget doesn't work until I reinstall it.
note for these experiencing the issue with autoUpdate not working properly, showing wrong time etc - app needs to be removed from sleep at power saving settings. Dear developers! Its a great app, using its widget for years. However, after update to Android 9 the system constantly reports high battery usage and proposes to put the app to sleep to conserve energy. When put to sleep, it does not update time and weather on the widget. Please help!!!
Not bad, but didn't make my top 5 while trying a ton of different weather apps. CONS: I don't like the the meteogram skips in 3-hour increments, can't search by ZIP code, and — at least in my area with many microclimates — the current temp if frequently off by ~5°C/10°F.
It's a rare case when an app is less functional and informative compared to a website. I miss the opportunity to see a month's forecast. Also, there's no functionality to check hourly forecast for a few upcoming days.
Forecast is consistently wrong. Invariably predicts rain when there is none and other forecasts show dry. No option to change to a reliable weather source. Interface is good.
My battery started dying soon after install. After some time Android 9 Pie system automatically detected that this app has high battery and CPU usage. After restricting the App to consume battery in the background, it stops working at all. Otherwise good app. Please fix so we can continue using! : )
I used Gismeteo last 4 years. Everything was fine. Today: - Widget with Current Position doesn't work. Infinity loading after change location or switch 3G/4G/EDGE; - In app Current Position shows wrong temperature; last update was in 2017. I'm changing the app.
I was using this app for a long period of time, everything was fine untill today, it just stopped shoving weather data, all over my country (Ukraine). What's the point of the weather app that doesn't show weather forecast
