The mechanics? Wack! Team Development? Wack! Playability? Wack! Daily Challenges? Wack! Weekly Challenges? Wack! Worldwide Inclusion? Wack! Online Multiplayer? Wack! Game Advancement? Wack! You won't find better than this. The in-game store is a little expensive for what you get, but not a huge complaint from me. There is a newer version of this game (Hockey All Stars '24, i believe). In no way was I paid for this review (the pleasure is mine 😀)

At first I was really enjoying the game. The learning curve was decent and had some challenge. First 2 leagues were fine, then the AI skills jump was just insane! I went from winning most to losing absolutely everything. The on screen joysticks moves as you drag higher on the screen, passing and checking mechanics are infuriating. Don't get me started on the shootout, if you get to there it's basically a guaranteed loss every single time. May eventually pick it back up but a pass for me now.
