It works pretty good, a very hi refresh rate with the waveform function too. For accurate results, let your engine idle for a few minutes and test the battery immediately after shutting off the engine. It needs to be at 12.75v or above for an accurate test.
Not bad bit of tool kit, I use for checking AGM solar batteries! Says all batteries good! For their age! 5 years old!
My BK100 tester gives different RESISTANSE readings depend on profile set. E.g. my car battery measures 6.58±0.02 mOm in SAE and 7.16±0.02 mOm in EN which is non-sense. Switching between profiles gives different resistance within seconds. Please note I am not talking about derived results like SOH or SOC. My another tester KW510 gives same resistance 6.75±0.02 mOm regardless which profile set. BK100 came with latest FW version 1.1.5. Please advise is this sowtware or firmware bug.
Doesn't connect to my phone, actually two phones. Wants to access my contacts. Why? My battery doesn't make phone calls. Wants my location. Why? My battery doesn't need to know where it is. Useless POS. If I could attach screenshot I would show you that the app is asking for access to contacts and call history. I'm not making it up.
