Fantastic app. wasn't sure what to expect but it's very intuitive and once you understand the features, can quite quickly put together an entire floor plan. Developer has done a great job, not buggy, no issues experienced. Love the 3D view.

I like to design possible future homes and this byfar is the best free program! No annoying ads or pay walls and you can do a lot of things for it being free! I also thought it was pretty easy to use. The only problem I have is it could have more objects and some of the objects are the wrong size (the king bed in the app, for example, is a little smaller than an actual king bed). Overall, great app!

I am enjoying magicplan currently, I am still learning my way around the app and discovering it's capabilities and limitations. I haven't successfully used the camera to create a room on the floor plan yet, after about 3 corners the camera won't register where the floor is. It's really handy when you're learning about home renovations and repairs, great visual aid.

This app is really awesome and has a ton of versatility! It's free for your first 2 projects and even has the ability to transform your 2D drawing to a 3D object. I've only been using it for a few days but it's really easy to use even without watching any tutorials. The only issue I have is with the inaccurate sizing of some objects (queen bed was small) and resizing of items a little difficult with the pinch/zoom method, but you can enter exact measures. I can't wait to keep adding floorplans!

Camera scan keeping exclusive to ios is nothing more than move to discourage android. It should be available to all devices with AR capabilities update to the review replied: i appreciate your swift response so have increased rating to 3 . Yeah, i understand that Android doesn't have the hardware abilities in form of LIDAR capabilities . if you are not sure of giving equivalent result through AR, you may release camera scan for andorid as "Beta Camera scan" . This should fill the gaps created

I and not a very techy person. At first I thought this was a great app. The more I got into it the harder it was to use. It's very touchy and most people who are in trades have fat fingers. You need to set it up so that it has other controls to move things around because as soon as you pick up your finger it gives you a different option on the object's movement. So it gets extremely frustrating windows and doors change sizes and locations after you let go. Not enough room to explain better.

The app has great potential, but it looks like the main feature was removed. Rather than walk around and tell the app where the corners are and it make automatic accurate measurements, I'm now stuck needing to manually input everything. Seems that feature is now only for IOS. I will attempt to finish a room to determine how difficult it is, but right now I am looking at a 3 star app. If you want 5 🌟 then you are going to need to make it a full featured product for Android users.

Sigh, you had to jump on the "iOS-only" bandwagon. Scanning should be available to any device with AR capabilities. It's cumbersome to change units - this should be an easy-to-change function. I once paid for, and recommended this app but it almost feels like another low functioning planner app for hobbyists and not for professionals.

I had no hopes, even through the initial setup up the room using the scan camera feature. But alas, once I realized that it had created a roughly accurate shape, just 4 times the size of my actual space. I would have forgiven that, but my GOD, who designed the controls to manually change dimensions. I would be trying to adjust something, and despite freezing walls for the 10th time, when I zoomed out, walls and dimensions of adjacent rooms were all wrong. You guys need to do better.

A month later. Same. More promises. Everyday, a new issue. Not only are this fonts too small and not scalable, but in order to print out something that I can give to a client that doesn't have a 4 point font, . But now when I draw a floor plan and put both floors on the same page, it won't let me change floors like from ground floor to second floor. New issue. Everyday there's a new surprise for magic plan.
