Greatly increased size after last updates. Now it consumes 193 MB, not easy to keep it "just in case" on my old phone. Besides that, it would be nice to decrease permissions set, especially startup and sleep items
I am very glad to see the initiative of IFRC to encourage and spread the use of first aid. First aid can make a difference of life and death in many cases. Yet I am very sorry to tell you that this app asks for your country to choose right in the beginning, and unfortunately my country 'India' was not in the options to select in the list provided. I hope this app works in my region, So that everyone can take advantage of the platform. I will be thankful to IFRC.
IFRC really need to make it clear that this app doesn't work in English, and is only for select countries. Had this on my phone for months before heading out and finding that it didn't work. If there had been an accident of have been without a functioning guide. Maybe don't make the app page in English if it's not a supported language, and have a notification when you install telling you the app requires setting up
Just downloaded the app and was alarmed by the review section... many Indonesians are complaining being unable to access the English version. Funny, why would anyone choose a non-native language to access an app required for emergency situation, where people need to think fast? Turns out, the Bahasa translation is rather clunky and still in English grammar. I spent more time thinking of what would the menu say in English to navigate, and this is clearly not ideal.
Good app for all. But there is a huge problem when it is used in Burmese language. The fonts used in all the texts are not Unicode standard. So we cannot see them properly and cannot read at all. Please fix this. Thank you very much.
It's really frustrating that the Red Cross would region-lock critical first aid information. I need a quick reference first aid app in English language and this app provides only country-specific first aid. Please provide a general first aid application with informtion in English language.
Doesnt have all european countries, not even the ones around me. It should say why it needs to know the country, (language/laws/emergency numbers) so you can adjust if yours isnt there. It asks for location permission, but doesnt say why either, and the permission is impossible to skip.
The application is good, however the test section which goes via Google forms is not sending email results for SARS which form includes Zimbabwe, South Africa and Tanzania.. I have taken the test 20 times but no results. Please rectify, we want to get in-class certification tomorrow So far I rate with one start until the developer solve this equation. Otherwise 5 stars.
