Ulasan untuk Quick Video Recorder
5 stars when it's working. After the last 12/18 update, videos are not being saved to the gallery ... sometimes. The problem is trying to figure out when they get saved and when they don't. Seems like you can't multitask out of the app. When you go back in, the timer is still counting, but when you stop, then go to gallery, nothing is there. Pixel 2 with latest op system and updates. EDIT: While some of the videos don't show up in the gallery, if I connect to my Win10 PC and and open up File Explorer. Bam, there they are. Moved from a 2 to a 5
This program is quite good. It does everything it is supposed to do, plus some neat features in the "settings." My only issue is that the "Zoom" feature seems to only use Digital Zoom, not the Optical Zoom which is in newer phones. This means zooming in always result in quality loss. Other than that, this App is great and convenient. - If the developers decide to add "Optical Zoom" as a feature in 2020 (Samsung Galaxy S10/S11/Iphone 11 or 12), I am willing to pay for that feature.)
(Updating my review which was complaining about ad placement choices. I didn't know there is a paid version available). This app does a good job of doing what it advertises. Main thing I use it for is recording at concerts without my screen being lit up and bothering people. Also handy when you are going into a sketchy situation you might need to record or while driving I can't get the photo feature to work, but I don't need it. The ads are very, very intrusive on the free version, though :(
Thanks for the response! Before you mentioned turning on the beta version, i found that turning off the sound recording allowed me to take video without being shut down. This may be due to android P not allowing apps to use the microphone in the background. I've also tried the beta version you suggested and it worked as well. One other thing to consider; when the hide from gallery and system setting is activated, i am still able to see the videos from my messaging app. Is there a way to prevent the messaging app from finding these videos as well? After trying several other apps, i find this one to be the best. My suggestion is for everyone to use this app and simply be aware of the items mentioned above.
App works great, it can use the default camera (wide angle camera on my device doesn't work with this app) and record with the screen locked, when you are watching videos, browsing the internet, or doing anything that doesn't use the microphone or camera... As long as you aren't counting on the dash-cam option to work when recording for extended periods. For some reason, on my device, when using the dash-cam mode to make repeating recordings, rather than delete old recordings, it just stops.
Works great with my Samsung A10 E, but it does fail to run from time to time on two older Android devices requiring to open the interface, change settings, and try recording within the interface. One reoccurring issue I experience is I have to use Tracker Control to launch QVR's interface in order to change the settings. Also, it's probably specific to my phone, but the shortcut doesn't always start the video sometimes it turns off right away producing a 0kb file or sometimes a picture of random size. I am a free user and may purchase in the near future! It records in the background, continuously for hours which is what I need it for! EDIT: One other problem I have is my phones will auto switch the storage directory from my SD card to INTERNAL and Ill have to switch it back using the Tracker Control Method.
Video stops recording before I tell it to. I've tried it with time limit on at 59mins and I've tried it without time limit on. It seems when I need to record something important, that's when it decides to stop recording on it own at 46 mins. It's happened twice so far. But when I did a test recording(i just had it sitting on nightstand) for a little over an hour, it recorded the whole thing no problem. So frustrating.
Great app, just wish it still had the old style wide lens widget which worked. I used the wide angle lens most often, and I have tried the new Make Shortcut feature, but it just doesn't work regardless of which camera setting I use(2,3, etc). I know quite a few others have the same complaint, hopefully it'll get sorted out soon.
The first couple recordings (even while phone locked) seem fine (only tried short videos less than a minute). Any attempts to record more produce videos that "cannot be played back" from any app that plays videos. Forcing app to stop and then trying again doesn't work. Only rebooting phone seems to fix it (but then only for a single video or two). Plenty of free space; Running on Pixel 3 XL with Android 10 Sep. 5. I like the simplicity of this app and I want it to work.
Every time I use it the audio is nonexistent. Once in awhile and get audio, mainly after I uninstall and reinstall it. Whether I let it save to my internal memory or to an SD card doesn't matter. The result is always the same after the first initial video even if I delete it or keep it, there's no audio. I keep getting the message during playback to this video format does not support audio. Transferred over to a PC same issue no sound. What's the point if I cannot have audio.
