Awesome! Everything is fixed, app does what it's supposed to once again. Successfully able to share both pics & videos, although the video process is quite slow. Using the free version. Would consider getting the paid version if it improved this. There's not really anything extra offered in the pro version other than no ads & removing the watermark. For $5 bucks, would like to see other features added 🤷♂️
I'm not sure what's going on, but since the last update I've been having this periodic issue where clicking through to open Instagram with a repost only allows me to send the post as a message and not post it to my account. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app. Before this i loved Repost because it was the simplest and most reliable way to things. But if i can't recover the usability I've come to expect i have no choice but to go to a competing app.
What happened? This app used to work great, exactly as advertised. I even paid for the version so I could repost without the tag on the bottom of the picture. Since the last update (I guess), whenever I try to repost something, it's only giving me the option to send it to one of the people I follow instead of being able to post directly to my feed. This is so frustrating to me, I've uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it with no luck. Uninstalled until they fix the problem.
I had to uninstall this. It starts in background and stays on, waiting even when you aren't using Instagram. My phone was stuttering and slow. After testing and uninstalling every excess thing I could find (apps, photos), none if it worked to fix if... until I can removed this app. Phone is working fine again. Too bad, since it's obviously a recent update that caused this issue. But I certainly didn't want that constant push notification either.
About to uninstall! If a post has multiple pages to it, the app only copies the first page. That's super lame! It means you have to post each page separately?? How the app developers over looked something that is so common on Instagram is beyond me?? And I too have found the "paste" button in the caption box doesn't work. I'll give it a week maybe a little more to see if these issues are resolved, if not I'm uninstalling the app.
This app used to be absolutely amazing, but as of the last month or so I've noticed it stopped working. Instead of letting me repost things to my feed, it only lets me directly message it to specific people. Not the purpose of the app and not the way it used to work. I'm very disappointed and I've noticed several people have been having the same issue and have posted for months now. Fix the issue! Until then I have found a different app that'll do the exact same thing this app used to do.
This app did not work. Prior to downloading it, I was able to click on copy link. However, after I downloaded the app , there was no copy link option. I went to another device that didn't have the repost app and copy link was there. Furthermore, only the screen with the instructions was up. The app never moved to another page or screen.
20-Feb-21 Here to remove another star and try to determine why this app works so horribly now. Would welcome suggestions on a more reliable app. 01-Sep-19 I've used this app for a while and it typically works fairly well. However, for the past month or so I've been unable to repost images. The only option given is to send images via direct message. Is there a work around for this issue? Update: It appears the above problem has been fixed.
Currently it's completely non-functional. Screen stays on how to use only. I've copied links repeatedly using both copy options on posts. Reinstalling the app does nothing to make it work, the same with a force stop and restart. It no longer seems to be aware of my clipboard copied links on my phone. I've seen a couple other reviews similar, it would be great if the devs would communicate to us on this for others to see. If it's API update that needs fixed from IG, please let us know your aware.
