This is a very good translation app. I want to make it clear that this is not a messenger. This is not for chatting back and forth. This is strictly a translation app. It is a lot like Google translate, except that the translations stay on the screen until you delete them. And there is also spoken translation. This is something that Google translate does not do. The only improvement I would suggest is a language swap button like what Google translate has.

Extremely impressive app it never misses or misunderstands a word I say. Better than the Google voice keyboard when it comes to voice recognition. I have only translated from English so your results in other languages may vary. If you want a voice translation app forget Google Translate and get this.

So far I had no problems with the app. Works perfectly. Great time to find the app as off to Germany in 2 weeks. Perfect for helping my Spanish growth too! If you want something to help speak to someone in a different language this app helps translate everything into the correct punctuation and gramer

This app is very quick and easy to get some kind of translation. I continually use the edit feature because then I can get the proper words in there because the program can't quite understand my pronunciation of Chinese. It would be better if you could paste into the program right from the start without having to use the edit feature. It would be easier for studying Chinese if it had a feature to tell me what the different pieces of a sentence mean.

Surprisingly accurate. I tested it using a tv documentary with some Russian clips. Amazingly accurate (checked with subtitles). None are perfect. Bit annoying to continually have the Consent screen popup when pressing the speaker icon. Should be easier to toggle languages. No anglicised spelling for Russian or Chinese (Pinyin). None of them cope well with very idiomatic language.

When you disable "Detect end of speech" so it does not automatically stop recording; nothing changes. It still stops and it gets worse at detecting anyone is speaking at all. I am trying to translate a recording and whenever the speaker pauses the recording stops. By the time I hit start again I've missed a few words. That is very annoying.

It's a good translator, but I am disappointed it doesn't offer a written translation option. I sometimes have to cut and paste something in a different language than my own, so I don't know how to sound it out. I can't paste it to this app for translation.l, whis is frustrating. I only want one translator app that can work with voice and text

This is a great app. I am able to listen to Arabic courses in the background while "SayHi" translates. The only improvement the app needs is to translate the Arabic language better, more proficiency and correct sentence structure. The app also needs the translate Islamic religious language, grammar and text. When I read the Arabic and the English translation...it's off! Hopefully, you can fix! Thank you.

Say Hi Translate has the superior functionality to take a student of a foreign language to a higher level of comprehension and pronunciation. However, after using it for a while, it stopped working. I could not find in my settings any adjustment to make, nor could I reach email support to resolve my problem. It simply stopped functioning for me, so I will leave it.

Does a good job BUT has bugs. Every time I relaunch the app from your "recent" list, it has a bug where you be to select both languages again. After you select them it says you have to restart the app. If you just launch from the beginning by closing the app, you have to select both languages again because it defaults to English and Japanese.
