The game is hours of entertainment for me that makes me use my mind for some good fun where you actually have to think not another mindless zombie game where all you need to do is kill zombies. I mean I guess that's great for kids. But Adults need more mental stimulus to hold our interest. I wish more people took the time to learn how to play chess because it's a really great game to challenge your mind. I love it!!!!!

Updated phones, and the new version just doesn't have it. Different look, different sounds, different animations and now, It seems like choosing any level over 2 actually selects an option to flip a coin, with heads being level 1 and tails being level 10. So choosing a level 3, which used to consistently be a good game for a bathroom break, I either get an opponent that essentially just vomits and collapses, or I get high blood pressure because I'm facing robot M. Carlson.

The single player game is good. The multi-player game has no fair matching logic. Most of the opponents you are assigned in quick matches are rated or close to master level in skill. For a beginner/novice this can be very discouraging. Many multi-player opponents will make one move and then leave the game for an extended period of time or even never return.

By far the #1 Chess app on the Play Store. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an optional setting to "confirm / submit move" in multiplayer matches, especially with how easy it is to accidentally tap the wrong square. Other than that, flawless application. Also, PLEASE offer a paid, ad-free version!

No problems with functionality. I've seen chess apps that don't even setup the pieces correctly. This game play is good. Graphics are nice without being too much. I play levels 1&2 to build confidence. Levels 3&4 are a good challenge for me. Perhaps you can handle the higher levels. The player should be able to pick an opening that the computer sticks to for 5+ moves. Game analysis would be nice too. For a fun, free app to pass the time though, this might be for you.
