Ulasan untuk Garmin Connect™
Pretty darn good. Coming from the Samsung and Fitbit apps, this is lightyears ahead in terms of data. Sure, it's a little overwhelming at first, but after you customize and get the best layout for your needs, it's better than any free fitness app out there. Pairing it with Garmin Explore if you're a hiker/trail runner or mountain biker takes it to the next level.
I really appreciate the material design and the depth of data the app shows. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the help features are actually helpful if you need them. When I was trying to decide which brand of smartwatch to get, it came down to the apps. The Garmin Connect app looked so much better, and offered more of the features I was interested in. In the end, I asked myself "which app do you want to look at every day?" and Garmin was the clear winner!
Loving the app and the devices that go with it. Garmin has really outdone themselves with this. I do wish, however, that it was more friendly towards the strength training and Weightlifting crowds. Additionally, it would also be nice to have the ability to share workouts with other Garmin Connect users. The Connect app would also be complete if it let you track nutrient intake and allow you to use heart rate monitors with the actual app instead of the watches because they get in the way.
quality personified
Good.
Solid app, never really had issues but I find it very frustrating that with my brand new Instinct 2 solar I can't set alarms through the app, but all my older vivoactives allowed me too. It was a feature I used all the time because I constantly have to get up at different times for work and it seems like it should be a feature for all of their watches.
not as intuitive as I was hoping as a first time Garmin owner. Previously had Fitbit and Samsung watches and only needed 1 app for customising watch faces and shortcuts on the watch.
There haven't been any major changes in this application for the last 1.5 years, not a single new feature. And now when there is something new it's under paywall, not cool. I'm very disappointed. I believe that this step in the wrong direction, especially with this price on Garmin watches.
Not the worst, not the best. Pretty feature heavy but half don't work as intended. The most basic feature, step counting, is wildly inaccurate, the pay feature doesn't accept any bank, and my watch randomly connects and disconnects. Tracking calories burned, pulse and O2 sat metrics are accurate however. Some of this review includes aspects of my watch but they go hand in hand.
Why can't it sync offline? Most of the data in the app is useful, but it can't sync activities or even my sleep info without online access? I'm frequently off the grid for days at a time, but can't use the app at all until I get home. At least let it sync the data from my watch offline, and provide the analytics later. The "body battery" function also doesn't seem to be that useful or accurate. Mine is basically zero all of time unless I leave my watch off for a night, then it'll work for 1 day.
The app works well. the watch takes a lot to learn. I'm not convinced it knows when I'm sleeping. If i take a nap it says I'm resting. It doesn't start counting sleep until "bedtime" and doesn't wake up until wake up time. You have to tap it repeatedly to see the time in the middle of the night. Oh, that's all watch! Not app. The sleep increments are hard to see on my phone. And i still have no ideas what "body battery" is. I'm not real sure it can count stairs. I live upstairs and the numbers
it's not as friendly as the samsung health app. it doesn't automatically recognise walking as an activity as wwll as any kind of strengh workout. it doesn't recognise when you've woken up to exit sleep mode. heart rate monitor isn't accurate at times this is for my Epix gen 2
I'm not sure what's going on but since my Android phone updated almost two weeks ago, the Garmin app has been crashing constantly. I open it, it closes. I look at one screen, it starts flying through all my data screens (without my touching anything), and then crashes. The app updated yesterday and I thought that would help, but it's still acting like it's been possessed.
Worked great for the first 6 months or so. For about the past month, however, it will not stay connected to the watch (vivoactive 4s) via Bluetooth. Tried all troubleshooting steps several times and had multiple communications with customer support over the course of more than a week, but nothing works. I am beyond frustrated that I paid for a smartwatch and now all I have is a fitness tracker. It's a shame because when it was working, I loved it and would have rated it 5 stars.
Get rid of the pay wall. You're not Apple. You're better than that. NO ONE LIKES IT. People pay because they have to, not because they want to.
