this app is pure garbage. constantly asking for subscriptions and even hides the ways to get out of them. disgusting app. horrible horrible design. constantly buggy too, like its a teenager who's trying to rebel against his parents but doesn't know how. I hate it.

Terrible experience. I went in hoping for something good. I had a few instruments that I wanted to learn. I even paid for their outrageous subscription. Unless you play piano or violin, it is absolutely worthless. I couldn't find a single mandolin sheet or lesson, just some liars who claimed to have mandolin pieces and did not deliver. Poor design. Poor support. Poor invention. Garbage app. Run far away from this.

Pro+ is kind of a ripoff. They are going the route of enshitification like the streaming services. You pay the $9.99 a month for access to pro scores, then you have to pay more to download the scores. 🙄 You can upgrade to another tier for $149.99 per year to get it all, but there is no monthly option. You might as well just use musicnotes or some other service and pay per score.

Do not ever pay for this app. There are constant prompts and pop ups to trick the user into paying for free features, like simply adding a score to your favorites. App is unusable because of their greed. Just use the website that has all of the regular features and user generated scores without the annoyances.

Deceptive practices! I pressed the "one week free trial" bottom, was taken to a screen to "sign up" -- which I foolishly did. And THEN discovered there was no free trial but instead I had bought a non-refundable year long subscription. I would not mind so much but the app is extremely buggy. Behaving differently from one time to another and others too numerous to bother mentioning. Nice concept but appears the app needs some professional programers and testers long before they charge so much.

Here's my problems: 1. Pieces of music that have become restricted in my country(for whatever reason) cannot be deleted from my library. I can't even open them. So why can't I remove them from there to unclutter my library? 2. Crashes. Lots of them. 3. While listening and trying to read along, it stops playback. It will just stop. No rhyme or reason. Just. BAM. No playback. It could be after 1 measure or 30. 4. If I go out to another app, Muse resets and I have to dig that music back up.

The subscription price is too greedy. Over $200 per year for one app? And it barely does anything without paying. I might pay a decent one time fee for the app, but definitely not such a pricey recurring subscription. Apparently this app is owned by the same company as Ultimate Guitar, which explains a lot. If you're a musician you probably know how aggressively monetized and irritating Ultimate Guitar is. You can expect the same thing here.

So, I have a list of things that could be very improved about this app. 1. Some scores won't load. Or, when you're scrolling searches, it'll just stop loading at some point. Perhaps there could be pages for searches instead of endless scrolling? So, it isn't so strenuous to load. 2. Being able to search in a key instead of by instrument would be phenomenal. Like, all scores of this name in b flat instead of individual instruments. 3. Being able to write music on mobile!! That'd be amazing!

This a great app with a lot of music, but I rate it 3 stars for the amount that is locked for a MuseSore plus (subscription). Regular MuseScore is a place to browse music for free, and that's about it. You can't transpose music or change key/octave without the subscription. You can't download it into an editable file either, which I feel should be a free feature. I would be willing to watch as many ads needed to transpose some songs, but until that time, I rate this 3 stars.
