I love this app! It is very accurate in getting the right plant. A lot of plants have duplicates, so it will give you 2 or 3 options to pick from. I really want to keep this app on my phone, but my only option is $2.99 weekly or $5.99 a month. I want to pay the $29.99 a year. But it's not happening, everytime I hit continue it says an error has occurred. Please let me buy this.

You've got to be kidding. Astonishing. I haven't been blown away by an app since Shazam or point-to-the-sky astro maps or Google Maps. But this, this app is breathtaking. I simply cannot believe it. As someone wanting to learn more botany, and always wondering what plants are on my walks, wow. I've detected maybe 50 in my yard- ones I've bought, ones I know, weeds, trees, bushes. Accurate yes, but the speed, and the app interface itself, all nailed. I cannot say enough. So, so well done. BRAVO!

Worth the yearly cost for sure. I love this app. I shared it wipe visiting with a former Botany professor yesterday and he was equally impressed at the abilities of the app. Out of at least 20 snaps, there was only one questionable result and it was a variation of a fern species. We use this all the time and even my 3 year old is getting good at identifying plants! Love the function to add to the garden and the tips for plant care, too.

I use PictureThis -Plant Identifier often, about once a day since downloading. I haven't tinkered with it too much aside from identifying plants around my yard so I can't attest to all the feature's this app has; however, it's very informative and is pretty accurate. It can help identify sick plants and reasons as to what is wrong with them. It even helps to identify toxic plants for pets and people. So much fun walking and using it on plants. Did the trial and bought a subscription 3 days in.

Great app for recognizing plants. The detailed care tips are helpful, tho I often have to look things up elsewhere to get enough info, and sometimes the info in the app is incorrect. It does have some blind spots/missing plants. The lost star is for the constant annoying popups asking me to subscribe. I would gladly pay a one time fee for advanced app features or to have more than a certain number of pics, even if it was $20 or $30, but no way am I going to pay for an (expensive) subscription.

The app works well and is easy to use. I seem to have gotten pretty accurate identification from it. I first started using the app 2 years ago and signed up then for premium for $10 annually. It has billed me annually but not given me premium access. I chatted with their support and they say I am not signed up for premium despite me being charged for it a few days ago. So I have had to dispute the charge and get refunded through Google. Frustrating and sneaky.

I'm an herbalist and for the most part this app is spot on. However, I would like to see some added features. If I am in an area where there is not internet connection or low internet, the app freaks out and doesn't give the correct name of the plant. This can be deadly. I can take a picture with my phone and store it. If you could create a version that would allow the usage of pictures on the phone to be used in the app, then it would resolve a lot of issues. If it already does it, I can't find where it does.

Feels very overrated. Fails on basic identification unless show it a fully flowered colourful, perfect specimen, Anything less it fails. Tested in garden, failed to identify Mint, Rosemary, Lavender, Camelia, two breeds of Rose or in fact ANY plant that lacked fully formed, perfect flowers in bloom. And won't say "I can't do it". On failure it just goes into an endless crashed loop of 'Scanning' forcing you to cancel, leaving no record of failed tests.
